BNI Members voice their thoughts...
Jim Romeyn - BNI Cartel

The new Langley BNI Chapter struggled for a couple of months to achieve Charter status. During this time my professional priorities developed IN CONCERT with the group around me. As group dynamics expressed themselves - everyone patiently attending to our Director's BNI description / recruitment presentations week after week - I found my own character developing in several ways. For example, I learned patience; clearer and more concise expression of my business offering; acceptance of fellow business people with their indiviual professional aspirations; and deep respect for the integrity and professionalism of our leader, Troy Busniuk. Watching these dynamics in others - and even more intensely within myself, has inspired me to not only continue to participate in a team spirit, but also to focus on leadership development. This demands an attitude of SERVING, and not taking. And the term for that is Giver's Gain. How exciting that now at the starting point of our new Chapter, we already have tremendous collective energy, a well-formed basis of harmony and also an action-oriented commitment from our Membership! Watch out for Langely BNI!
